Outdoor adventure holidays for teenagers
Teenhols is a conference with the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul in Ireland. Every summer Teenhols runs 7-8 outdoor adventure holidays during the months of July and August. The holidays last for 5 days and on each week up to 30 teenagers are invited down to either Birr or Baltinglass Outdoor Education Centres for a week of canoeing, rock climbing, horse riding, swimming, archery, etc.Teenhols is open to girls and boys aged between 13-15 years old, these deserving teenagers are from all over the greater Dublin area. A week with Teenhols is extremely rewarding for both volunteers and teenagers alike. Many Volunteers have told us that waving goodbye to the teenagers as they return home is frequently sad, but it leaves you with a sense of satisfaction. |
